Emma Esinnah

Mr. Emma Esinnah is the Country Director, Nigeria, for Curves International – the world’s largest fitness franchise, with presence in 94 countries.

Before joining Curves he worked in Nigeria’s banking industry for about 17years and had risen to be regional head in charge of the entire mid-western part of the country for the bank. Before that role, he had been the head of Marketing Communications as well as Special Assistant to the CEO of the bank for nearly 15years.

He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and an M.Sc. from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.

Emma has had significant training in Strategy, Leadership, Marketing, Communication, Finance and  Management  in some of the world’s leading business schools, among which are: INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France (June, 2013); Said School of Business, Oxford University, Oxfordshire, UK (November, 2012); Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, Illinois, USA (Sept. 2011); Tuck School of Business, Darthmouth College, New Hampshire, USA (October, 2010); Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA (December, 2008); Kellogg School of Mgt, Northwestern University, Evanston, USA, (April, 2007); International Development Institute, Dublin, Ireland (April to May, 2003). He is also an alumnus of the Senior Management Programme (SMP 32) of Lagos Business School.

Emma is credited to have revolutionized the Corporate Social Responsibility function of the bank he worked for, winning recognitions for the bank, including the African Banker’s Award for Corporate Social Responsibility and the Nigerian Social Enterprise and Reporting Awards (SERA) which the bank won for seven consecutive years under him.
